For Royal Antwerp FC, the brief was clear. The club’s digital ecosystem had grown fast. Ticketing, webshop, membership, and website. But every platform operated with its own login and data silo. Fans needed multiple accounts and the club lacked a single, unified fan database to power personalisation and partner-ready insights.

The Challenge:
- No central login. Fans had separate credentials across ticketing, shop, membership and other platforms, creating friction and fragmented journeys.
- No single fan database. Profiles, consents and preferences were scattered, making segmentation, reporting and activation inefficient.
- Limited 360° view. Commercial, marketing and service teams could not reliably see full fan lifetime value or engagement.
These issues limited the club’s ability to scale digital revenue, personalise communication and offer partners data-driven propositions.
The Idea:
Antwerp needed a unified identity layer: one fan, one login, one profile across all key digital touchpoints. We designed a Single Sign On concept using Unidy as the central identity provider, sitting on top of existing systems like ticketing and webshop. This SSO becomes the trusted source for fan identity, consent and core profile data, ready to feed CRM, marketing and partner tooling.
The Solution:
- We implemented Unidy as the club-wide Single Sign On layer and connected core fan-facing platforms to it.
- We orchestrated migration flows so existing fans could claim or merge accounts into a single profile with minimal friction.
- We structured profile data, preferences and consents centrally to support future CRM, campaigns and loyalty initiatives.
This creates one fan identity that works seamlessly across channels, while maintaining security, privacy and compliance standards.
The Results:
- A single identity backbone now powers fan login and profiles across Antwerp’s key digital platforms.
- The club gains a cleaner, richer fan database, enabling smarter segmentation, better campaigns and more attractive sponsor propositions.
- Fans experience faster, more consistent journeys with fewer logins and clearer control over their profile and preferences.
